Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of New Ambulance for Fire Department
Ghanzi District Council invites tender offers from qualified and reputable motor vehicles dealers registered in Botswana for the supply and delivery of new ambulance for Fire Department for Ghanzi District Council.
The Procuring Department is Civil and Mechanical Engineering Services - Mechanical Division (Ghanzi District Council).
Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana must., in order to be eligible for consideration of award of this contract, submit the following;
a. Provide Tax Clearance Certificate Number and PIN. The verification of the validity of the BURS certificate will be done on BURS website by the Procuring Entity (PE).
b. Registered with PPADB on Code: 208 - Transport Equipment and Accessories, Sub-Code: 01 - Motor Vehicles. Spares and Accessories.
c. Provide Franchise/Dealership license or consent letter from the dealer.
d. Fully completed returnable documents (Certificate for Authority of Signatory, Local Procurement Registration certificate, Form of Otter and Acceptance, Declaration of Directors and Shareholders Form, Declaration Form for tendering purposes. Bill of Quantities Form, Public Sen-ant Declaration Form, Commitment Statement Form and Response Form).
Preference will be given to Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) registered companies in accordance with the turnover threshold. Preference to targeted groups (youth, women and people with disabilities) in accordance with the Local Procurement Policy preference margins. Youth to submit IDs and Form of Shares.
Documents may be collected during working hours between 0730 hours and 1245 hours and from 1345 hours and 1630 hours from 9th September, 2019, except for weekends and public holidays at Ghanzi District Council RAC Block, Office No. 1-44; Mechanical Engineer I Office.
A non-refimdable fee of P2 50.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Pula only) payable in cash is required before collection of the Tender Documents. Payments should be made at Old Council Revenue Office, during workdays between 0800 hours and 1245 hours and from 1345 hours to 1530 hours, except on weekends and public holidays. Youth companies will be charged PI 25.00 (One Hundred and Twenty-Five Pula only) for each document upon presentation of ID/Omang and Share certificate for proof of eligibility to the youth group.

Tender offers should be submitted in a set of four (4), one (1) marked “Original” and three (3) marked “Copy” all put in a plain sealed single envelope and addressed to: Council Secretary, Ghanzi District Council, Private Bag 0015, Ghanzi, and hand-delivered to Ipclegcng/Firc compound, LAP AD Secretary` Office behind the New Ghanzi Council Chambers not later than 1000 hours on 8th October, 2019 marked: “Supply and Delivery of New Ambulance for Fire Department for Ghanzi District Council”. Thereafter tenders will be opened at 1015 hours at LAPAD Office in the presence of bidders or their representatives wishing to attend.
Telephonic, telegraphic, telex or facsimile tender offers will not be considered nor will bids received after 1000 hours of the closing dale be accepted.
