Superstructure steel bridge underpass Steilshooper Straße D005_Project Bridges Barmbek The Steilshooper Straße, Bwk D (005) underpasses are located in the Hamburg district of Barmbek, Barmbek-Nord and are part of the section of the subway line U3 between the Habichtstraße (HA) and Barmbek (BA) stops. The bridge structure underpass Steilshooper Straße, D (005) to be renewed was built in 1918 as a two-track riveted trough structure with barrel plates as a carriageway with a span of approx. 4.59-14.95-4.59 m manufactured. Service walkways are mounted on both sides of the superstructure. The bridge, including service walkways, is approx. 8.30 m wide. The existing superstructure consists of a 3-span system with Gerber joints and pendulum supports. Essentially The following measures should be carried out: -Dismantling, removal and disposal of the existing superstructure and pendulum supports via Habichtstrasse, Ring 2. -Manufacture, delivery and assembly of the new double-track steel superstructure with service walkways incl. Corrosion protection, bridge bearings and sub-ballast mats -Steel stripping of the existing superstructures -Removal and disposal of the trough seal The order involves extensive and demanding steel construction and corrosion protection work, partly with old substance containing hazardous substances with high demands on the quality of implementation.
