Study to improve the water quality of the Lusatian Neisse Study to improve the water quality of the Lusatian Neisse The aim of the study to improve the water quality of the Lusatian Neisse is, with the help of the planning instrument "Project and Redevelopment Plan" taking into account all relevant pollution factors determined in the OWK Lausitzer Neiße LN-3 to LN-10 (point sources, diffuse sources, water withdrawals, runoff regulations and morphological changes, other anthropogenic impacts) to derive cost-effective measures or combinations of measures, the implementation of which, according to current knowledge, will achieve the goals of "good ecological status" or "good ecological potential" and "good chemical status" within the im deadline set by the management plan. The interactions of the individual OWK with each other (upstream OWK/downstream OWK) (e.g. material transport, fish passage) and with groundwater bodies (GWK) (e.g. material Pollution from the groundwater) must also be taken into account.
