Tenders are invited for Study on the Cost of Food (Cost of the Diet, Cotd)

The specific objectives of this CotD study are:

· Evaluate the minimum cost, quantity, and synergy of local foods needed to supply a typical family with foods that meet their average energy needs and provide recommended intakes of protein, fat, and micronutrients.

· Understand the correlation between market price and seasonal availability of various foods and consumption patterns.

· Recommend foods to consider when developing recipes for complementary feeding and pregnant mothers

· Use this information to design behavior change messages and activities to promote inexpensive but highly nutritious foods and use savings from designed diets to meet other household needs, including water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).

Specific tasks to undertake
· Carry out an assessment of the cost of food (Cost of the Diet, CotD) according to the standard methodology, in the sub-prefectures of Bossembele and Yaloke, and more precisely in the health areas of Boyali, Yamien, Yeremon, Danwili, Gaga, Pama, Ngaramon, Lambi, Boudouli, Ndjoh, Gbadengue, Zawa and Bekadili.

· Lead the preparation of the food cost assessment

· Carry out a documentary analysis

· Prepare and carry out data collection

· Entering data into data analysis software

· Analysis and interpretation of data

· Writing of the report

· Writing a summary note
