These are combined with submersible pumps to pump water. Drilling is generally used in high permeability aquifers with good water content. Drilling may vary in depth: 2 - The study part. 2.1 / Drilling: The Project supports on the one hand the creation of boreholes on a limited basis in areas where detailed hydrogeological studies have confirmed the sustainability of groundwater resources. However, the decision to develop drilling will depend on the findings of the hydrological survey to ensure that the proposed drilling capacity does not exceed the recharge rates of the limited and fragile groundwater in the project areas. The rehabilitation and / or extension of existing boreholes will also depend on similar surveys.
