Stadtwerke Leipzig GmbH - Southeast Campus - Conversion and renovation of house 218/219, G07.2 - Screed work The renovation of hall 218/219 is planned on the site of Stadtwerke Leipzig GmbH on Arno-Nitzsche-Straße in Leipzig. House 218 and 219 is a part of the former gasworks on the site and part of a building ensemble which consists of two similar masonry hall buildings and a flat central building. It was built around 1890 in solid brick construction and is on the list of monuments of the city of Leipzig recorded. Building 218 is a hall made of masonry that is spanned with a truss structure. The functional building is constructed without supports over its entire length and is reinforced with thick outer walls. The building is in three parts structured, the middle workshop area was perceived as an open space, while the two side wings were divided into small parts into two floors. This situation has now changed due to the demolition work and foundation work in the hall Totally without installations, these have been dismantled.
