U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command ? Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC), Munitions Engineering Technology Center (METC), Small Caliber Munitions Division FCDD-ACM-MI at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting market research to determine the ability to manufacture and produce injection molded components.

REQUIREMENT:

1.1. The injection molded components must be made from the following material: POLYETHERIMIDE UNFILLED (ULTEM 1000) IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D5205.

1.2. The injection molded components must be the following color:BLACK IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANY OF THE 17000'S, 27000'S, 37000'S SERIES AS IDENTIFIED IN SAE-AMS-STD-595.

1.3. The injection molded components must be free of cracks, splits, perforations, burrs, corrosion and foreign matter. The cleaning method used should not be injurious to any part, nor should the parts be contaminated by any cleaning agent.
