Tender Details

The city of Solingen has been extensively renovating the "Bergian National Monument" Burg Castle since 2016. This tender includes the services for the redesign and new construction of the outdoor facilities in the areas of Zwingerhof, Grabentorhof with forecourt and the creation of barrier-free parking spaces, LLandscape conservation work on the mountain spur and the renovation of the northern access road. Accordingly, gardening and landscaping services, work in public traffic areas, civil engineering work, drainage work and preparatory civil engineering work include electrical installation/exterior assemblyt requested in construction phase 3.

The renovation concept for Burg Castle provides for a complete overhaul of the outdoor areas. The various surface materials are replaced and bound together with small greywacke paving stones (on sidewalks and squares) as well as large greywacke paving stonesa construction method (in public streets). In the main access area to the actual palace square, the "Zwingerhof" area, the barrier-free guidance system already started in BA 2 will be continued, which also enables people with visual impairments to participate. Smaller individuals are herekmaeler rebuilt and staged. The small garden area will be converted into a medicinal plant garden. Hornbeam hedges accompany the public street space on the left and right.
