Software solution for archiving and exchanging data from imaging procedures (PACS) The subject of the present award procedure is the introduction of a central PACS that can be used across locations as a future uniform platform for storage, Management and provision of medical image data. The central PACS should be designed in such a way that all BBT Group facilities can access it and a consolidated, common image database is created. In this context The plan is to gradually replace the PACS systems that were previously operated locally at the individual locations and take them completely out of operation. The BBT Group currently operates different hospital information systems KIS at several locations, Radiology information systems RIS and PACS solutions, which are installed and operated locally in the individual houses. This historically grown system landscape is characterized by location-specific isolated solutions and various technical Operating models as well as increased effort for administration, interface operation and further development.
