The Fraunhofer IWS intends to procure a continuous CAD/CAM system for offline programming and simulation of add-on and spans manufacturing processes for CNC and robot systems. First, three systems are integrated into the software: the Beam Magic 800 (5-axis laser order welding), DMG MORI LASERTEC 65 Hybrid (5-axis laser order welding and milling) and fanuc robot cell with redotiled table (6 + 2 axes of lighting mandate welding). The aim is the efficient, flexible and system-specific cam programming, simulation and optimization of manufacturing processes, including the integration of postprocessors and user training.
