Description : REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 1. The United Nations Ecnonomic Commision for Africa, Sub Regional Office for Central Africa seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from duly registered companies for a site construction to house two (02) 150 KVA generator sets and power line wiring upgrade works at UNECA/SRO-CA in Yaounde, Cameroon. More specifically, the project aims at: - Building sites to accommodate 2 generators of 150 KVA each - Constructing a firewall for the protection of generators - Building a room to house the diesel tanks that will feed the generators - Building a control room for the generators - Supplying and installing of electrical cabinets including the general low voltage switchboard (TGBT) - Installing 2 petrol tanks of 1500 liters each as well as the filling device and the diesel and electricity pipes for the generators - Installing a lightning rod with a starting device - Updating the electrical system of UNECA/SRO-CA as well as the installing all cabling and lighting systems - Establishing a fire safety system for the generators and electrical cabinets, connected to the existing system at UNECA/SRO-CA. 2. UNECA/SRO-CA will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue a Request for proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their abilitity to fulfill their requirements.
