The Contractor has to prepare all technical and engineering drawings of the Chamber, which are needed for production planning, construction, and assembly. The Chamber must meet various special requirements in terms of applicability in UHV systems. The Chamber houses one pair of collimators. It is basically shaped as a stainless steel cylinder whose front-side openings are sealed with CF flanges. Eight CF-type flanges of different sizes enable the mounting of UHV pumps, vacuum diagnostics, linear stages for moveable collimation blocks and the neighboring beam pipes. The Chamber has to be designed and manufactured according to detailed specification douments.
