SG Zeven - KuBiZ Zeven - sanitary and heating technology The subject of this tender is the installation of plumbing and heating technology. Start of work: June 14, 2027 The former Klostergang primary school becomes a cultural and educational center (KuBiZ) rebuilt with a library, adult education center, archive, auditorium and central foyer. A new common main entrance leads into the central foyer that connects both buildings. Thanks to large glazing, this area opens up to the square and forms a bright, communicative center of the ensemble. The Dutch wing will be converted into a two-story library. The existing structure will largely be retained, the roof structure will be renewed and the facade will be insulated and with a new clinker brick ETICS facade. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a direct connection to the outside space. Reading and lounge areas are created along the facades, allowing a view of the surrounding area. A central internal staircase with Airspace connects the ground floor and basement and optimizes spatial use. The rooms for the adult education center and the museum archive are being built in the building of the former Klostergang school. The existing brickwork will be cleaned and repaired. The old windows will be replaced by thermally separated steel windows with narrow profiles and a vertical division, which reflect the historical structure and at the same time have a contemporary appearance.
