As part of its sub-strategy Shared Mobility, the state capital Munich (hereinafter: Concession provider) pursues the goal of establishing a comprehensive shared mobility offer in the enforced urban area (https://risi.muenchen.de/risi/dokument/V/6979662). One step in this direction is thatAllocation of 600 station-based car sharing parking areas to one or more concessioners. The station-based car sharing model is based on previously reserved vehicles and set pick-up or return points (see § 2 No. 4 CSGG).
In this award procedure250 parking spaces, divided into ten looses. The parking spaces are spread over three different zones in the urban area. The exact number of parking space per lot and their assignment to the loose is determined in a draw process.
The commissioning of the parking space is gradually inPlanned 2025.
In order to ensure reliable operation of the parking space and thus high supply reliability for users, the parking space and car sharing vehicles are subject to operating obligation.
