The Reich President-Friedrich-Ebert-Memorial Foundation is looking for a tenant to cultivate the "Cafe Burkardt-the Cafe im Ebert House" on the way of the public tender. The cafe is located in an attractive historical environment in The core area of the Heidelberg old town and can be used independently of the opening hours of the neighboring memorial. It comprises approx. 110 m2 of interior with around 47 seats and is fully furnished. In addition, management areas are in the courtyard (approx. 20 places) of the memorial as well as available in front of the building at Unteren Strasse 27. The premises were extensively renovated in 2010, the kitchen was modernized in 2021, and in 2024 the roller shutters took place. The contract is awarded as a service concession in accordance with Section 105 (2) GWB. The Duration is four years with the option for extension by another two years. The expected (without guarantee) average annual turnover is around 220, 000 euros. The estimated contract value for the entire term (four plus two years) amounts to around 1, 345, 000 euros.
