General Procurement Notice for Selection of the Consulting Firm for the Financial Audit.
Consulting Services : All selections of consultants will be in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.6 of the Bank's Procurement Policy Document, using appropriate Bank Solicitation Documents and in accordance with the procedures described in the Handbook. operations of the Bank's procurement framework. A Loan Agreement, amounting to 62.7 million Euros, was signed on 8 August 2017 between the Gabonese Government and the African Development Bank, for the financing of the Support Project for the Diversification of the Gabonese Economy .
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to strong and inclusive growth through the improvement of the investment climate, the strengthening of institutional capacities and the diversification of the Gabonese economy in the priority sectors.
Specifically, PADEG will contribute to improving the investment climate, strengthening domestic resource mobilization to ensure sustainable financing of economic diversification, and promoting Gabonese priority sectors and SMEs . Therefore, PADEG has three complementary components, namely, (i) support for investment climate reforms to strengthen the competitiveness of the economy; and the mobilization of internal resources for economic diversification; and (ii) support for reforms in the Mines-Bois priority sectors to diversify the sources of growth; iii) support to the operational management of the project.
Procurement of goods, works and consulting services will be in accordance with the Procurement Framework for Operations Funded by the African Development Bank Group, October 2015 Edition, available on the Bank's website at the following address : www.afdb.org.
