Tender Details

The subject of the tender is the scaffolding work in the course of the renovation of the laboratory building Building L (Chemistry) at the University of Konstanz (built 1969-1972). The measure includes in particular the renewal of the escape balcony system and the repair of the entire concrete facade including the chemical storage. The services are provided during the ongoing operation of a university research and teaching building with increased security and coordination requirements. Scaffolding constructions (main quantities): • approx. 6, 500 m2 of single-row façade scaffolding (working scaffolding, load class 4) • approx. 10, 400 m2 of two-row façade scaffolding for parallel facade and balcony work (working scaffolding, load class 4) • 4 construction hoists (transport height approx. 30 m, load capacity up to 2, 000 kg) • 4 stair towers up to 30 m, 6 stair towers up to 10 m • 90 m pedestrian protection systems • 11, 700 m2 scaffolding cladding (nets, tarpaulins, soundproofing panels) Special requirements: • The work is carried out during ongoing university operations. • Coordination with parallel running trades and cramped construction site conditions. • Permanent functionality of the scaffolding as an escape route (including winter service).
