The subject of this framework agreement is the delivery and installation of satellite communication technology for the top, upper and lower disaster control authorities in the state of Lower Saxony. The aim is for the authorities to use voice channels can communicate with each other, especially if terrestrial communication channels such as telephone and internet fail. The framework agreement is concluded via - the purchase of hardware (satellite terminals, SIM cards), - maintenance services, - assembly and installation, - the provision of access to the Iridium satellite communications system and - optional services for project planning/consulting, project management, configuration and installation, instruction.
