However, it does not always make sense to map all functionalities exclusively in SAP HCM. The IT service provider must therefore describe in detail which processes and data should be sensibly integrated into SAP HCM for S/4HANA and which functionalities should be covered by alternative solutions or third-party software. These decisions must be justified based on the requirements of the municipality as well as technical and economic aspects. In addition, it is crucial to define all the necessary interfaces between the different systems.
