Esikhawini Rural Park Home Offices Electrification

Scope of work
The suitable supplier/service provider is required to carry out new electrical
connections to 3 park homes, a container and provide security lighting for Rural
Roads at Esikhawini ERF 2846 and issue the certificate of compliance as per
attached Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
2. Particular specification
Esikhawini J2 - Rural roads and storm water offices
2.1. Requirements for this RFQ
a) Valid registration with the department of labour (DOL) as an Electrical
contractor in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act OHSACT,
act 85 of 1993
b) Valid registration with CIDB as an electrical contractor having a minimum
of 1EB and above
Service providers failing to submit the above requirements will be
disqualified from this Bid
3. Acceptance
When the installation work is completed it shall be subject to final inspection &
acceptance by the engineer. Any material or work rejected shall be replaced or
reconstructed by the contractor at his own expense.
The contractor shall make arrangement for the water he requires for the
execution of the work under this contract and must allow in rates for all costs for
obtaining water for the contract.
Water shall be clean and free from provision for water amount of acids, alkalis
organic matter and other substances that may impair the strength of durability of
concrete
