As part of the digitalization of the vehicle infrastructure in the NVV, all RegioTram vehicles in operation and to be put into operation in the future in the NVV were and will be equipped with network infrastructure (routers/switches) as part of the "RT-IT" project additional IP vehicle components (hereinafter: “existing infrastructure”). By using a central software and network management system, the vehicle IT components of the RegioTram are to be monitored and monitored on land via a central location be administered.
