Expression of Interest are invited for Risk Management Strategy for Infrastructural Development

The consultant should have the following qualifications:
● Firm must have Experts with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Technical Advisory, Strategy design, and/or Risk Management for Infrastructural Investments in Somalia/East Africa/Africa and developing countries.
● Firms must have qualified Management and Staff that are able to conduct the assignment and possess strong analytical and report-writing skills.
● Firm that has demonstrated expertise in conducting risk assessment, identification,
management, strategy, mitigation/adaption approaches for investment and implementation of
infrastructural projects in Africa and developing countries.
● Firms that have an understanding and knowledge of Somalia-s contextual challenges and
opportunities, in relation to investment and implementation of infrastructural project.

The objective of the assignment is to prepare a Risk Management Strategy for Infrastructural
Investments in Somalia, that will provide investors in infrastructural projects in the country with a
clear and consistent strategic framework support for the requirements of the context.
The proposed Risk Management Strategy will identify the risks in investing in the Somalia
infrastructure sector, enhanced and tailor-made risk management and adaption approaches. The Risk
Management Strategy will build on the existing procedures and will be adapted to the unique context
of Somalia to support the delivery of projects in the country.
It is against this background that MoLSA seeks to recruit a consultancy firm to support the
development of a Risk Management Strategy for Infrastructural Investments in Somalia.
