Tender Details

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out data entry on site at 115 high-volume sites across 27 health districts in Botswana for approximately 150, 000 records from over the past 5 years. UNAIDS requires the services of a company or NGO to manage a team of data entry clerks who will carry out activities for improving the quality of data from HIV programs specifically focusing on refining data for pediatrics (0-14 year), pregnant and breast-feeding women.The data management company will work closely with the Data Quality Improvement (DQI) technical working group TWG which comprises of MOH, CDC, BUHMMI, NAHPA and UNAIDS. UNAIDS jointly with MOH and CDC will develop an SOP which will be used to train the data clerks. Objectives Conduct data quality improvement activitiesin high volume sites for children aged 2 14 years, focusing on resolving individuals recorded with "unknown age" on ART, HIV testing services, viral load data and breastfeeding data.  Strengthen monitoring and case-based surveillance system to capture the required indicators and strengthen existing electronic medical records. This assignment will commence from 1st April 2024 and to be completed by submitting the final deliverable(s) on or before 30 September 2024.
