The BGZ for interim storage mbH operates an interim storage facility (transport container storage facility Ahaus) for the storage of nuclear fuel and other radioactive substances on the property at Ammeln 59, on the L570 between Ahaus and Schoeppingen. The transport cask storage facility in Ahaus (TBL-A) is currently being securedupgraded. In the course of retrofitting, the following structural measures must be carried out:
Creating the excavation pits for the foundations of the movable drive-through protection systems
Laying the rainwater drainage pipes in this area
Manufacture of the foundations for the movable drive-through protection systemsequipment
Filling the excavation pit after foundations are made
