Retrofit box for low-voltage stations NRM Netzdienste Rhein-Main GmbH (hereinafter NRM) is a 100% subsidiary of Mainova AG based in Frankfurt am Main. When it was founded in 2005, the requirements of the Energy Industry Act to unbundle energy sales and energy networks was implemented. This ensures non-discriminatory network access. The electricity supply network covers Frankfurt am Main, with the exception of some western districts and is around 7, 700 km long. As part of the implementation of Section 14a EnWG, transparency regarding the utilization of low-voltage networks is becoming increasingly important. For reliable, grid-friendly control, the current grid state must be resilient to record and evaluate. For this purpose, the NRM plans to introduce ONS measurement sensors, which enable the continuous recording of relevant low-voltage network parameters. The increasing penetration of low-voltage networks with controllable Consumption facilities leads to new operational challenges. In many network areas, existing measurement concepts do not offer sufficient data depth or transparency to identify network bottlenecks at an early stage or to reliably implement control measures evaluate.
