The entries from a total of 134 archival finding aids and registers (bound finding aids, register volumes, card indexes, Leitz folders, booklets) from the Amberg, Augsburg, Bamberg, Coburg, Landshut, Munich and Nuremberg state archives as well as the Bavarian state archives Main state archives must be recorded electronically for further electronic processing in archival indexing systems and online presentation. The total volume is estimated at 583, 515 description units (VZE) with 46, 661, 692 characters, of which approximately 12, 150, 505 (mainly) typewritten characters and approximately 34, 511, 187 handwritten characters. It should be noted that some of the finding aids and registers date from the late 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Very good reading skills in grasping the Handwritten finding aids are required. Lot 1: Estate Register The lot includes the electronic recording of 56 estate registers from the 19th and 20th centuries, some of them multi-volume, with approx. 397, 349 reference units and approx. 19, 255, 772 (mainly handwritten) characters for electronic processing in archival indexing systems and online presentation.
