Tenders are invited for Restricted procedure: Sahel Peace and Stability Programme Phase II - Mali.
Description: A second phase of the Danish Sahel Peace and Stability Programme (PSP) covering the period mid-2018 until mid-2021 under the Whole of Government Peace and Stability Fund (PSF) is under preparation. The Programme responds to the Sahel’s immediate and multifaceted stabilisation needs by combining capacities from across Foreign Affairs, Defence and Justice. A Programme identification took place from December 2016 to July 2017 and a draft Concept Note is submitted for approval in early October 2017.
The overall objective of the formulation mission is to assist the Sahel Programme Support Unit (SPSU) and the Danish Embassies in Mali and Burkina Faso, in close dialogue with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to develop a final draft programme document for a second phase of the Danish Sahel Peace and Stability Programme by further developing and revisiting the suggested objectives, outcomes and outputs, verifying and updating the Theory of Change, revisiting the risk analysis, the suggested organisational set-up and M&E framework, suggested partners, etc. The overall focus will be on detailing and concretisising the rationale for the design decisions made in the Concept Note.
