Description: In the area of the Wasserstraßen- und Seilfreichtamt West German channels (WSA WDK) there are three lock systems in the Duisburg remote control group (FBK DU), which are remote from the Leicentral Duisburg (LZ DU). The use of video technology is necessary for process monitoring and safe operation of these systems. For this purpose, nine cameras per lock chamber are used at various locations. The entire existing camera technology (cameras, transmission technology, operating devices, screens) has reached the end of their technical lifespan and is set as planned. In addition to the above. Three locks, the Friedrichsfeld lock facility is equipped with new camera law.
