The liquid scintillation counter (LSC) must contain the following components: Measurements to determine alpha and beta emitting nuclides must be carried out using three photomultipliers. In order to achieve the required throughput, the measurement must run automatically and be possible in unsupervised operation. The sample capacity must contain at least 70 vials of 20 ml each. There must be the possibility of alpha/beta separation. An external radioactive source must be installed (activity with a small exemption limit) for implementation of quench corrections. There must be the possibility of quench correction using the TDCR method (Triple-to-Double Coincidence Ratio). Please refer to the service description for a detailed description.
