Tender Details

1. The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo(MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest EOI) from duly registered companies for the Provision of human remains repartration services from Goma/Kinshasa-DRC to another country for internment at the request of the next-of-kin or in compliance with national laws. 2. Provision of the services shall include handling, shipment labeling, tracking, storage while in transit, customs clearance at ports of departure and arrival, and transportation of HUM from medical facilities in Goma/Kinshasa to Kinshasa/Goma International Airport for onward shipment to specified delivery address out of DRC. MONUSCO shall provide the airport of shipment arrival in the Task Order. The Contractor shall also undertake customs clearance while the shipment is in transit to the destination country.3. MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their abilitity to fulfill MONUSCO requirements.
