Tender Details

The German Aerospace Center (DLR) intends to repair the rocket test stand building Geb 309 in Trauen.

In order to implement the development of a competence center in the context of "Responsive Space" at the Trauen location, the repair of the test infrastructure on the block of four is necessaryie the environment required. Access control to the test area during the test period is absolutely necessary for security reasons. The building Geb 309 needs to be modernized and renovated. The access route including the barrier systems must be renewed. The protective wall needs to be raisedn and the lightning protection must be adjusted. The dilapidated forecourt needs to be renovated and the rainwater and wastewater drainage needs to be adjusted.

The control room must be redesigned and provided with pressure ventilation.

A test cell for experiments with solid rocket motors must be convertedut be. In addition, a room to accommodate measurement technology near the test cell, a storage area and a lounge for the test personnel are required to carry out the test operation.

Experiments on solid fuel engines are to be carried out on the test bench. The Institute RY plant carrying out pressure tank tests; the AS Institute also carries out hybrid rocket engine tests on the rocket test stand.
