At the Wuennenberg-Haaren motorway junction, all the ducts along the tangential and circular lanes as well as the parallel lanes on the A44 are defective and must be renewed.
The renewal is being carried out in an open construction with plastic pipes.
In the course of the renewal of the ducts, cable ducts witht built and the circular and tangential lanes rehabilitated with a surface and binder course with mastic asphalt.
The parallel lanes of the A33, including the hard shoulder, will be thoroughly renovated from km -0.550 (B480) to km 1.100.
In the planned construction on the parallel lane, the entirebitumen-bound superstructure and the frost protection layer.
On the A44, no roadway rehabilitation is planned for the parallel lane. Only the channels of the parallel tracks will be renovated. The work cannot be carried out via the parallel lane of the A44, but must be carried out from the Dreicorner areas.
The unbound superstructure with the frost protection layer is being rebuilt. Then the 34 cm thick bituminous pavement is installed, consisting of 22.0 cm asphalt base layer AC 32 TS, 8.5 cm asphalt binder AC 22 BS and 3.5 cm top layer SMAFlow lines are selectively repaired or renewed. In the area of the manhole structures, leaks in particular are repaired, the position of shifted bearing rings is corrected and defective covers are replaced.
