The old building of the Sandhausen elementary school was built in 1908/09 and was supplemented in the 1960s and 1990s with another school building, a sports hall and an indoor swimming pool. It is a cultural monument that is included in the list of the Baden-Wuerttemberg State Monuments Office. The preservation standsfor reasons of local history in the public interest. The old building has serious structural defects in almost all parts of the building. An extensive renovation is now to be carried out. In a first construction phase (the subject of this tender), the building envelope is to be energy-efficient and deto be renovated in accordance with the historical monuments, among other things. i.e. the facade with windows and doors as well as the roofs. The aim of the renovation is to improve energy efficiency through new windows and roof insulation, the associated minimization of operating costs, and the design and monument-appropriate upgrading of the external appearanceimage and, above all, the preservation of the building structure in the sense of long-term life cycles.
