Renovation of a student dormitory in Chemnitz The Chemnitz-Zwickau Student Union is planning to comprehensively renovate, convert and modernize the student residence at Reichenhainer Straße 51 in Chemnitz. After the renovation, there will be around 140 people in the dormitory Single apartments with their own bathrooms and mini kitchens are being created. In addition to the 140 residential units, two disabled-accessible apartments and two care rooms as well as a common area (community lounge) are to be built. The building will be gutted carried out in advance by the Chemnitz-Zwickau Student Union and is not part of the service. The planning and renovation will be awarded as a total contract to a total contractor/transferee (based on a PPP owner model without final financing). Negotiated procedure with participation competition awarded. In contrast to the VOB/B, the remuneration for the planning and renovation services is made through advance payments at specified milestones. The Chemnitz-Zwickau student union is carrying out the renovation and conversion and modernization of the student residence at Reichenhainer Straße 51 in Chemnitz. Funding from the “Young Living” program was approved for the renovation of the dormitory.
