Renovation of FW pressure boosting stations The Flensburg public utilities want to renovate three of 13 district heating pressure booster stations in the 600 line between 2026 and 2027. The aim is to improve operations for more efficient operation and to maintain the Reliability of the desired future operating style (as long as possible with max. 95°C VL temp.) of the pressure boosting stations. The pressure boosting station, also called pumping station, consists of pumps, pipelines, fittings, electrical lines, measurement technology, Ventilation system, control cabinets and structural fastenings. The pumping stations contain at least two pumps, one of which serves as redundancy. The following pumping stations are to be renovated first: Südermarkt pumping station: Located under the Südermarkt The Südermarkt pumping station has 4 pumps. The pressure increase takes place for the 600 line a) in the direction of Angelburger Straße DN 350 and b) in the direction of Dr. Todsen Street DN 500. Hafenspitze pumping station: The Hafenspitze pumping station is the first pressure increase in the 600 series after the power plant, consisting of 2 pumps. The harbor tip pushes towards Lautrupsbach into one of two DN 400 lines towards Glücksburg.
