Renovation of digesters 1-5 in sewage treatment plant 1, Nuremberg The contract essentially includes the planning and construction supervision of the following measure: The digester tanks 1-5 including the associated elevator tower and Connecting bridges are to be extensively renovated due to poor structural conditions. In addition to structural repairs, the measure also includes a renewal of process and process technology such as pipelines, machine technology and others Digester installations. In terms of construction, extensive concrete renovations, sealing work and, above all, energy-related renovations (thermal insulation and facade design) are to be implemented. The aim is to repair the digesters so that they can be used in the future modern, safe and efficient operation of sludge digestion is possible. It is important to note that operationally-related serial, section-by-section execution of the construction project over five construction phases is important. First is an overarching system plan for the entirety to work out. The individual construction phases will be completed based on this “renovation plan”. The commissioning takes place in stages. The cost calculation of the respective construction phase is the basis for the fee. The measure does not include the Comprehensive renovation of the pipeline installations in the lower installation corridor or basement.
