The high school in Schwaförden is currently divided between the Schwaförden and Ehrenburg locations, but is to be merged at the Schwaförden location. As part of this, the school building with sports hall in Schwaförden is to be renovated with around 3, 500m² and around 3, 300m² can be expanded to accommodate the additional space required. Part of the building from 1952 needs to be dismantled. The Schwaförden secondary school consists of three building parts: - the old building from 1952 with four classrooms, which is structurally, energetically and technically sound appears, - the intermediate building from 1972, a single-storey part of the building with a teacher's room, administration, kiosk, student toilets, break hall and specialist classroom (FUR) music, which has a solid building structure in terms of construction, energy and technology, but is now in need of energetic and technical renovation - the new building from 1995, a two-story part of the building, with eight general classrooms (AUR), a group room and a FUR IT, which is structurally, energetically and technically a solid building which, however, now also needs to be renovated in terms of energy and technology, and - the sports hall from 1975 (one and a half fields), which, like the intermediate building, needs to be renovated in particular in terms of energy and technology. As part of the subsequent offer phase The proposed solution is to develop a design and functional concept for the sensible use of the rooms in the existing building and an attractive extension building, which functionally combines the existing building and the extension to form a school and modern pedagogical requirements.
