As part of the redesign of the university campus of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, the outdoor lighting and the associated technical infrastructure will be completely modernized and expanded. The lighting systems are manufactured in accordance with the DIN standard EN 13201-2 _2016-06 planned and executed to ensure optimal lighting of the paths and common areas. Mast and bollard lights are used, which are designed to be both energy efficient and easy to maintain. The entire Lighting control is implemented via a PLC from Beckhoff and intelligently regulated using a DALI bus system. The lighting is supplied from four decentralized feed points in the buildings C06, C07, C11 and C14, resulting in a Robust and fail-safe infrastructure is created.
