Renewal of the IT infrastructure in Bad Rappenau for a monthly fee The procurement intention announced with this preliminary information is currently not being pursued further. The city of Bad Rappenau intends to completely renew its IT infrastructure. The focus is in particular on the server and storage components as well as the client environment at the city administration locations. The project includes the delivery, construction, configuration and commissioning of the intended IT components. Additionally The migration of the existing virtualized server environment based on VMware is to be migrated to the new target environment. The procurement is designed as a rental model based on a BVB rental agreement. A basic rental period of 60 months is planned with optional extension options. In addition to the provision of the rental items, clearly defined services and support must be provided for the duration of the contract.
