Tender Details

Renewal of the Brandenstein and Ebertsberg tunnels DB InfraGO AG, RB Mitte, intends to renew the three tunnels Ebertsberg, Brandenstein, Ruppertsberg and the Vst Jossa as part of the container project “Route 3825”. This tender concerns the planned expansion of the three tunnels in full renovation as well as the reconstruction of the Vst Jossa. The Ebertsberg (l = 230 m), Brandenstein (l = 151 m), and Ruppertsberg (l = 321 m) tunnels will be expanded from approx. 50 m² to approx. 80 m² in cross-section. At the Vst Jossa will the central platform was dismantled. The main railway block will be adapted to RIL conformity and two new external platforms will be built. Furthermore, the Vst will be equipped with a pedestrian underpass (PU). The renewal takes place over an 18-month period Total closure of the route.
