Description: United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON) on behalf of UN-Habitat's country office in Sao Tome and Principe (hereinafter referred to as UN-Habitat) anticipates to hire a construction company to undertake rehabilitation of a Warehouse Building in Roça Uba Budo in the Sao Tome Island. Once rehabilitated, the Warehouse will serve as a processing unit for Agricultural products. It will also house a separate Unit where administration activities of the food processing unit will be carried out. The warehouse will also accommodate a care-room for women victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and alcoholism and a community center.BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECTUN-Habitat in collaboration with WFP, UNFPA and ILO are implementing a project to improve food and nutrition security in São Tomé and Príncipe.
