Aim and subject of the expert report: The aim of the report is the systematic analysis of the legal options Implementation of the DGE quality standards in public catering to be made binding nationwide. The The focus is on the following areas: i) Schools and daycare centers, ii) state canteens, iii) federal canteens, iv) hospitals. This The report should be based on a legal inventory and deficit analysis in particular, investigate which ones Control options in the areas mentioned are suitable and practicable to legally ensure compliance with the DGE quality standards bindingly ensured. The following questions should be answered for the four areas: 1. What areas of law are relevant for the binding introduction of the DGE quality standards? 2. Which regulatory options exist to make the implementation of the DGE quality standards binding, and which of these options are out particularly sustainable from a legal point of view feasible? In-depth research questions regarding the identified control options: i. Are there any (constitutional) legal obstacles to a binding regulation? against? ii. Who is responsible for issuing decrees at the federal, state or local level and Control? Does the federal government have the authority to do so nationwide? entitled to a binding regulation? iii.
