The Main waterway and shipping office intends measures to repair the overflow threshold in the Kleinostheim traffic jam in the Stockstadt section, Main-KM 80.500 to 80.790.
Relaxation openings are made by sawing the concrete slab at the foot of the energy shelf.
The openings are to be brought to a depth of 0.40 m by dredging. These are lined with a geotextile and filled with water modules. The water modules are secured by a partial clipping.
The production of the relaxation openings with the following dimensions is planned for the renovation section:
- Length of the renovation section: approx. 300 m
- Number of openings: 52 pieces
- Measurement: 4 m x 1 m and 0.40 m deep
At the entire length of the overflow threshold, approx. 111 m component joints must be cleaned using water high pressure and then filled with bitumen. The length corresponds to approx. 60% of the existing component joints.
About 50 m cracks are also available on the concrete slab sections. These cracks are also cleaned with water high pressure and closed with bitumen.
