The building is a listed Schumacherbau from 1926, which is currently being used by the tax authority of the Free and Hanse city of Hamburg. It is an 8-storey building with a basement and bunker below. The aim of the planning task is to renovate the building with its 27, 500 m² BGF (gross floor space).
