INTERNATIONAL tender for the recruitment of technical ASSISTANCE in support of the fiscal TRANSITION in West Africa country of the Community of West African States (ECOWAS) + Mauritania/West Africa.

Description of the contract
The contract covers the provision of long and short-term technical assistance, the taking over of the programme's Training action and the implementation of other inputs which could improve the management of the internal taxation of the Member States of the ECOWAS and to strengthen the system of coordination, monitoring and evaluation of fiscal transition Programmes at the level of each Commission (ECOWAS and UEMOA) and at the EM level.
As a reminder, the objective of the Programme to support fiscal transition in West Africa is to support the implementation of fiscal transition programmes in West Africa, following the implementation of regional trade-liberalization policies ( Customs Union, TEC, APE, ). Three products are expected: (i) the management of the internal taxation of Member States is improved and better coordinated in the region; (ii) The fight against fraud, tax evasion, illicit financial flows and corruption is reinforced and contributes to the increase of tax revenue; (iii) The system for coordinating, monitoring and evaluating fiscal transition Programmes is strengthened at the level of each Commission and at the EM level.
