With numerous and significant advances aimed at stabilizing the macroeconomic framework, its natural and mineral wealth, and an average economic growth estimated at 5% over the period from 2016 to 2020, Guinea has taken the path of economic recovery. However, like many other countries in the subregion, the country faces dmajor challenges to ensuring a promising socio-economic future for its youth. The development of employment in Guinea still faces various major challenges for the demographic dividend to have a positive impact on the socio-economic future of its population. These difficulties are particularly felt by the youngestand vulnerable groups.With a significant reduction in child mortality since the last 2 decades, there is a sustained demographic increase of 2.8%. Sociocultural constraints are particularly crippling for the integration of women since two thirds will be married and more than a quarter (26%) will be pregnant before reachingthe age of 18, which weighs on the country`s economic productivity and makes it more difficult for these young women to be integrated.On the age pyramid, the population under 35 is almost 78% of the population. the population (77.7%). And within this group, the 15 to 35 age group, represents 3.4 million Guineans, of working age and waiting for asocio-economic future. In addition, there are more than 300, 000 entrants every year in the labor market. The informal sector occupies the largest segment of the labor market in Guinea. It is estimated that the informal sector accounts for more than 80% of the labor supply. jobs in Guinea, mainly small urban or rural jobs with low added value. This is asurvival economy with low potential for individual evolution.
