In 2018, UNDP supported the Guinean authorities in preparing a 2014-2017 Economic and Social Report (ESR). The RES is not only a tool for evaluating the impact of public policies but also an advocacy tool for inclusive economic and social development. The RES aims to evaluate the progress of the country at the level of sectsocial and basic socio-economic infrastructure to reduce inequalities and promote people's well-being. The RES is also a reference document intended to make a significant contribution to decision-making by highlighting some key aspects of the country's human development following the periods of its economic evolution.SOC 2014-2017 was developed on the basis of a participatory and inclusive process that has highly involved local authorities, prefecture and regional directors of the plan.However, the most recent statistical data of this report date This is why UNDP is considering hiring a consultant for the updatefrom the most recent statistical data (2018 and if possible 2019).
