1. The Government of Mauritania has received a grant from the African Development Bank Group to cover the cost of the Governance Support Project for the Promotion of Inclusive Growth (PAGOCI) and intends to use a part of the sums granted under this grant to finance the contract of an international expert for the elaboration of the study on the business climate in Mauritania

2. The services provided under this contract are scheduled for 6 months.

3. The expert is responsible for:

? Conduct studies on the business climate (diagnosis, strategies and perspectives) and identify themes to be the subject of the reform action plan;

? Contribute to the development and updating of the reform action plan;

? define the main lines of cooperation and reinforcement of the public-private dialogue ;

? Identify training opportunities and capacity building of partners and the conclusion of necessary administrative arrangements;

? Propose relevant communication activities to be undertaken to accompany the reforms;

? Make recommendations for the improvement of the business climate and in particular for the supervision of the business climate technical committee set up in 2019.

4.
