This evaluation will focus on the Cooperation Program between the Government of Niger and UNICEF for the period 2023-2027. This program constitutes the strategic and operational framework through which UNICEF supports the Government in realization of children's rights, consistent with national priorities, the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2023-2027, the Sustainable Development Goals, the African Union Agenda 2063, the Plans UNICEF Strategic Plans 2022-2025 and 2026-2029, as well as the Gender Action Plans 2022-2025 and 2026-2029. The program was approved with an overall indicative budget of USD 438.559 million, including USD 113.845 million in regular resources and USD 324.974 million USD in other resources[1], subject to availability of funds. The subject of the evaluation is the UNICEF-Niger Country Program 2023-2027, including its programmatic components, its transversal strategies, its partnership modalities, its coordination and monitoring mechanisms, as well as its contributions to national results in favor of children, adolescents, women and the most vulnerable communities. The Program represents the main accountability unit of UNICEF in country level for the alignment of results and resources assigned to cooperation with the Government of Niger.
