Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of a Consulting Firm to Develop a Global Strategy and Action Plan to Transform Companies from the Informal to the Formal Economy and Support the Implementation of the Action Plan within the General Framework of the Implementation of the Zuntamon Initiative in Sao Tome and Principe

The services provided under this contract will be undertaken in three (3) phases, as follows: (i) Phase 1: Diagnosis/evaluation in order to collect and study all relevant documents and information related to the economy of São Tomé and Príncipe (formal and informal); thus, evaluate the effectiveness of collaboration and initiatives between the public and private sectors, namely the MPFBE (coordinator), the other ministries and agencies concerned, the provincial government ; Associations of companies and cooperatives (ii) Phase 2: Design of a global strategy to transform companies from the informal economy to the formal economy in Sao Tome and Principe and (iii) Phase 3 Implementation of the action plan which is articulated, among other things, to undertake an assessment of project management capacity needs and identify the knowledge, skills and competencies required to strengthen the capacity and capacity necessary to manage, supervise, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the strategy ; monitor and coordinate the implementation of the strategy action plan; provide identified project management services for key initiatives within the framework of the strategy; provide capacity building training, including on-the-job training and mentoring for staff and implementation teams...etc…
